This morning just before 5:45 the company was alerted along with companies 03 (Clifton Heights), 20 (Drexel Hill) RIT 09 (Sharon Hill) and Medic 105 (Fitz Hospital Medics) to the unit block of Ardmore Avenue for the house fire. Police arrived and reported a working fire. Chief 19 (T. Young Sr.) arrived and reported fire showing from the 1st floor of a 3 story twin. Ladder 20 arrived and placed a line in service and began to force entry through the front door. The crew from Engine 19 split and pulled a back-up line for Ladder 20's crew. While the part of the crew laddered the 2nd floor and began to vent, enter and search. All searches were negative and the fire was under control by the 30 minute mark. Crews manged to contain the fire to the first floor. Companies were in service for about 2.5 hours. Cover for Lansdowne was Engine 06 (Collingdale 1) and     Rescue 44 (Springfield).
